The Building Design Guidelines and Standards have been developed as the foundation pillar to achieve the Vision and will, particularly during the construction stage of development, play an important role in regulating the design of the built structures as well as the urban fabric and landscaping of Southdowns. The document is aimed at giving homeowners, architects, building contractors, the Southdowns Homeowners Association and Tshwane Building Plan department guidance in the design, submission, approval and construction of houses in the Estate.
